FAU-G to be released in October; Game Developer denies rumors of the multi-player game being conceptualized by Sushant Singh Rajput

In the support of Hon’ble Prime Minister Sh. Narendra Modi, Bollywood Actor Akshay Kumar recently announced the new game named FAU-G (Fearless and United-Guards) to push Atmanirbhar Bharat (Self Reliant) Campaign.

This game is the Indian version of PUB-G which will make the players learn about the sacrifice of our soldiers and 20% of the net revenue generated by this game will be donated to Bharat Ke Veer Trust.

It was rumored that the game is conceptualized by the now-deceased Sushant Singh Rajput. However, in refuting all such claims, the game developer - nCore Games in a statement issued on Twitter said: “This statement is being issued to address certain ongoing conversations/rumors on social media that FAU: G was conceptualized by late actor Shri Sushant Singh Rajput, which is completely false and baseless. nCore was founded in 2019 by an Indian entrepreneur Mr. Vishal Gondal and Mr. Dayanadhi MG & others who have been in the gaming industry for over 20 years. It involves a team of over 25 programmers, artists, testers, designers who have worked on top gaming titles in the past and are currently developing the FAU: G game.”

The Bengaluru based gaming company is developing FAU-G with the guidance of Actor Akshay Kumar.

The game is expected to be launched at the end of October with its first-level set in the Galwan Valley backdrop followed by third-person shooting gameplay in the subsequent releases. The game will be available on the Google Play Store and the Apple App Store.

Founder and Chairman of the gaming publisher, Vishal Gondal, in another statement said: "It is a matter of great pride to respond to PM Modi's call and present the world a world-class game, which will not only help gamers in a virtual setting fight the forces of evil but also positively contribute to nation-building by supporting our martyrs."

According to NCore, the game is based on real scenarios of domestic and foreign threats encountered by the Indian Security Forces. In teams of five, players will be able to collaborate and fight.

The company claims that ‘the core focus will be to match the scale and grandeur of popular global games and customize the content to suit the local brand’.
