Man Nabbed With Country Made Pistol And Live Rounds At Delhi Gate Metro Station

The personnel of Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) on duty at Delhi Gate Metro Station caught a passenger carrying a country made pistol and two live cartridges at the metro station.

During baggage screening through X-BIS machine at the metro station, Head Constable Arjib Kumar noticed an image of pistol inside a bag. He immediately stopped the conveyer belt as well as the passenger and informed the matter to his shift In-charge ASI Jagdish Raj. The Shift In-charge rushed to the spot and the bag was checked physically. When it was checked, a country made pistol (Desi Katta) and two live rounds were recovered.

Live Cartridges

 The passenger was identified as Qasim from Meerut (UP). The matter was informed to senior officers of CISF and Station Controller. The matter was also informed to Delhi Metro Rail Police (DMRP). On arrival of DMRP Yamuna Bank, the accused Qasim with the seized firearm was handed over to them for further legal action in the matter.
