Two Men Gunned Down In Broad Daylight On Gangwar Turf

Delhi Northeast district has hogged the limelight for some time following an age-old gangwar between two of the groups targeting to eliminate each other. In the same heat of the two rival gangs clashing, two men were shot dead in broad daylight amidst a crowd near PS Nandnagri.

Those killed in their Santro car were identified as Khurvesh Pehlwan with a criminal past and earned notoriety with more than 40 criminal cases to his credit, had 10 bullets pumped into his body and Kanchi his friend they met in jail. Both were the residents of Northeast Delhi's Nandnagri.

Around 11:30 in the morning, when they were returning they were waylaid by some motorbike borne men before they could sense anything the assailants opened fire indiscriminately which resulted in hitting the occupants of the car. They were rushed to GTB Hospital by a traffic police personnel where the doctors declared them brought dead. The police do not rule out the possibility of gangwar.

Gunpowder show and blood continues to spill in the district, two gangs in the district are bent upon killing the members of each other's gang, however, the police miserably fail to detect the source of illegal supply of firearms being used by the gangsters in the area. Even sophisticated weapons are being used freely. Lokesh Jat is said to be behind the murder as he had to settle an old score with him.

As of now, the dead bodies have been sent for postmortem, the case has been registered and further probe is underway.
