Chhattisgarh CM Bhupesh Baghel Orders Promotion Of Students

In the wake of the widespread Coronavirus pandemic, Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel on April 1, 2020 has ordered grant of general promotion to the students of the state studying in Class 1 to Class 9 and Class 11. A direction in this regard was issued to the Director of Public Education.

Keeping in mind the spread of the highly contagious COVID-19 and the health risks large gatherings could pose to students coming for classes, a decision to close all schools along with postponement of Higher School and Higher Secondary School exams was taken on March 19, 2020.
