Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal announced more relaxation for Delhi on Sunday, June 13th, 2021, after it had imposed stringent curbs to stop the rapid spread of the COVID-19 disease in the month of April.
The National Capital has witnessed drop of positivity rate to 0.30 percent in the past few weeks and has been continuously recording fewer than 500 cases since the last few days.
Lifting the curbs, the Chief Minister, additionally warned that if the state records cases spike, the government will again impose curbs.
Restaurants will be allowed to open at fifty percent capacity, with all market complexes and mall allowed to completely open between 10 am to 8 pm. Spa, gyms, public parks, gardens and yoga institutes will remain shut.
Earlier in April during the peak of the second wave, the Delhi government had ordered shutting down of all activities, barring essential ones.
