Delhi High Court Revises Schedule of Cases Listed Before it until November 30, 2020; Restrictive Functioning to Continue [READ ORDER]

Due to the grave situation of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Delhi High Court on November 10,2020 issued an office order stating that the restrictive functions of hearing cases both virtually and physically shall continue till November 30,2020.

Earlier it was decided that the physical hearing of cases will start but on rotational basis, which meant that when some courts will function physically, others will continue on videoconferencing and vice versa.

The court further suspended all the cases listed before November 12,2020 as per the schedule stated in the notification. The court also directed its benches and Joint Registrar of the court to take up old matters of the final category and decide them via videoconferencing and by recording the evidence  ex-parte.

But now, keeping in mind the present situation, the court had again revised the schedule until November 30,2020.
