Lawsuit Filed Against China For Creation And Release Of Covid19

A Class Action Lawsuit was filed yesterday (March 24, 2020) in Texas District Court in United States against China for the “creation and release, accidental or otherwise,” of the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) as a biological weapon in violation of China’s International obligations and also sought compensatory damages of over $20 trillion US Dollars.

The Class Action Lawsuit was filed by non-profit Freedom Watch, which is run by American lawyer Larry Klayman, and Buzz Photos, a Texas company. Buzz Photo in the plaint states that it has to face loss of $ 50,000 US Dollar due to COVID-19.

As per plaintiffs, there is enough evidence that Novel Corona Virus was made in Wuhan Institute of Virology in the city of Wuhan, Hubei province of China as “bioweapon” Which would be use to "Kill US citizens and other persons and entities in nations perceived to be an enemy of China." But it was accidently released in milieu of China and eventually affected the citizens of the United States of America (US).

“COVID-19 was designed by China to be a very ‘effective’ and catastrophic biological warfare weapon to kill mass populations… there are many indications besides the nature of the disease demonstrating that the virus was engineered in the Chinese military's laboratory or laboratories.” Plaintiffs said

Plaintiffs stated that Novel Corona Virus is a terrorist-related weapon of mass destruction of population centres which was accidently released in China and “those, including doctors and researchers, trying to spread the word in China about the new COVID-19 disease were arrested or ‘disappeared.’”

In this regard, the plaintiffs also highlight reports that a prominent Chinese health professional - Major General Chen Wei - attempted to self-inject an untested vaccine, in an alleged attempt to contain the Coronavirus outbreak.

“Indeed, curiously, in the attempt to put the COVID-19 disease "back in the bottle" Major Gen. Chen injected herself and six members of her staff with a potential vaccine which had not yet been tested on animals… Thus, through the use of a possible vaccine on herself, Major Gen. Chen's actions are consistent with desperation and her and her nation’s guilt that the Chinese military and all of the Defendants, acting in concert, jointly and severally as joint tortfeasors, caused this burgeoning national and world catastrophe”, said Plaintiffs

Plaintiff accused China by stating “Although it appears that the COVID-19 virus was released at an unplanned, unexpected time, it was prepared and stockpiled as a biological weapon to be used against China’s perceived enemies, including but not limited to the people of the United States.”

Citing an opinion published by The Hill, the plaintiffs contend that “Many reputable people and organizations and experts have thus come to the conclusion that this crisis began when a Chinese biological weapons facility accidentally released the COVID-19 virus into the atmosphere.”

Plaintiff further stated "Because China has agreed by treaty to outlaw such weapons, these actions cannot be official governmental actions of the People's Republic of China and are not subject to any possible claim of legal immunity from suit."

In India, Advocate Sudheer Kumar Ojha filed a suit against in Bihar against China. He in his plaint accused President Xi Jinping for creating virus to become ‘Super Power’. To corroborate his accusation mentioned about book titled 'The Eyes of Darkness' which was published in 1981, as per which a deadly virus named Wuhan 400 was manufactured in a lab in Wuhan, only to be used as a biological weapon.

The virus, which first originated in the Chinese city of Wuhan, has spread 189 countries or territories, infected more than 334,981 people and killed over 14,652, as per the latest data available on the World Health Organisation (WHO) website.
