About Our Panel Member:
A practicing advocate by profession, he has filed over 50 PILs within a span of 5 years. He is a member of the BJP and a well-known name within the legal fraternity. He aims to bring in legal reforms in India that are aimed at Anti-Infiltration, Population Control, and Anti Conversion.
In his professional Tenure, Advocate Upadhyay has had the pleasure of working with PM Narendra Modi on matters such as Population Explosion. He has filed PILs against several corrupt political leaders of the country and has received positive responses from the court on more occasions than one. In one such PIL, he urged politicians to publish details of their assets online, a move that was highly acclaimed by the judicial fraternity.
While filing a PIL, Advocate Upadhyay bears important questions in mind: 1) Whether it will bring about the betterment of the Country? 2) Whether it will reduce corruption within our ecosystem?
With his collaboration with LSJ, Advocate Upadhyay aims to guide young minds and citizens about their responsibilities and legal rights pertaining to ‘Public Interest Litigation’ and allied legal remedies.
