After Asaram Bapu and Ram Rahim Singh, another self-styled Godman has been charged with sexual assault.

Delhi's Fatehpur Beri situated famous Shani Dham Temple's founder Daati Maharaj who is also a well-known face on news channels related to astrology is accused of raping a woman who used to visit his ashram.

A case has been registered under the Sections of 376/377/354/34 of IPC against Daati Maharaj, and a probe is conducted by District Investigation Unit. The complainant said that she was sexually assaulted two years back.

As per the sources, the woman claimed that she started visiting Daati Maharaj ashram for routine 'teachings.'

Further, she also claimed that an aide of Daati Maharaj asked her to meet the self-styled godman. After which he sexually and physically assaulted her. The alleged incident happened two years back. She was also threatened not to inform anyone or contact police else she would face dire consequences. The woman added that she is not the only victim and that the godman has also harassed many other women.
