CAPSI and SPUP Sign MoU to Introduce B.A in Security Management

Central Association of Private Security Industry (CAPSI) on Thursday (May, 9th 2019) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Sardar Patel University of Police, Security and Criminal Justice (SPUP), Jodhpur, Rajasthan in an endeavour to upscale the technical skills of the private security personal and to frame the syllabus and curriculum for degree, diploma and certificate courses in security management.

Our associations with SPUP will help in getting good quality of managers and supervisors for private security industry. There is a growing demand for private security personnel from abroad also. Our trained manpower with proper degrees and certificates will increase their employability abroad, particularly in Europe and Gulf nations where demand is increasing.

Vice Chancellor of SPUP, Mr. NRK Reddy said There is a huge demand for security personnel which is growing rapidly. Need of private security is growing not only in India but also abroad. It is not possible and feasible for the government to provide security to all. Therefore, private security industry is growing fast. Going ahead we will introduce new courses and training models for guards as well as supervisors.
