The Maharashtra State Commission for Women (MSCW) has reportedly decided to take action against actor Vivek Oberoi for his objectionable tweet sharing a meme that compares Aishwarya Rai Bachchans relationships to the stages of polling.

The meme was a collage of three pictures -- one that shows Aishwarya with Salman Khan, another that shows Aishwarya with Vivek, and a third that shows Aishwarya with Abhishek Bachchan. The first is tagged 'opinion poll', the second 'exit poll' and the third, 'results'.

Soon after the meme was shared, the users started slamming the actor. Celebrities like Sonam Kapoor and Jwala Gutta were among those who criticised Vivek for his tweet.
