Spiritual leader Bhaiyyuji Maharaj commits suicide

By LawStreet News Network      12 June, 2018 12:00 AM      0 Comments

Spiritual leader Bhaiyyuji Maharaj allegedly committed suicide by shooting himself in the head on Tuesday (June 12, 2018).

As per the reports, Bhaiyyuji Maharaj was in a state of depression over some domestic issues which led him to commit suicide at his ashram in Indore.

The spiritual guru, gained much popularity in 2011 when he acted as a mediator during the anti-corruption campaign led by Anna Hazare and Arvind Kejriwal.

Born in 1968 in Shujalpur in a landlords family, Bhaiyyuji Maharaj was a model, before he started practicing spirituality.

He had been concentrating on working for nation building and upliftment of the farmers, by running several social projects in Maharashtra.

The Madhya Pradesh government has offered a status of state minister to the Bhaiyyuji Maharaj, which he had refused stating that a post has no importance to a saint.

It was said for the guru that he was a person who used to provide guidance to the families and individuals, at the highest level to the authorities whether it be in the Bollywood, politics or any other industry.

There has been some suspicion over the death of the spiritual guru as earlier, on May 8th, 2016 he had escaped a deadly attack on his car at Ranjangaon Road near Pune when he was returning to Indore.

Many followers are questioning his death as being a saint, Bhaiyyuji Maharaj devoted his life for the welfare of the people and working hard for the same end, why would he commit suicide.

His death has sent a shockwave among his followers, who have gathered in large numbers outside the hospital to know the wellbeing of the guru.
