CISF Personnel Foils Attempt Of Suicide At Metro Station

Committing suicides at metro station has been on the rise in the recent past. Keeping in view the gravity, the CISF personnel (Central Industrial Security Force) have been proactive.

Constable Narender of CISF QRT (Quick Reaction Team) deployed at Rohini East metro station noticed a passenger identified as Aniket 20 years of Lado Sarai, Delhi, sitting on the wall of the platform number 1 of the station with the intention of committing suicide.

He caught Aniket and brought him to the Station Controller Room where the passenger revealed that he was working in a hotel. Lately, following some issue, he was fired from the job, this frustration pushed him to take this extreme step as he revealed.

After some time, Delhi Metro Rail Police (DMRP) was called. After the counselling, he was handed over to DMRP for further action.
