Delhi Court Awards Death to Man for Brutal, Diabolic Murder of 12-Year-Old Boy

A 12-year old boy, Manan, son of a property dealer was kidnapped and murdered in March 2009 by one of his neighbours, Nagpal.

As the boy was familiar with the man, he went with him without any fear. After taking him, Nagpal sent a threatening message to the boys father demanding a ransom of Rs 7 crore and saying that if the amount is not paid, the boy will be killed.

The boy, Manan suspected something wrong and tried to escape. Seeing this, Nagpal chocked him to death. He did not stop here but took the body and dumped it in a dry drain.

This was a very brutal and shameful act done to a boy who was hardly 12 years of age. The Delhi court finally on Tuesday (October 6, 2020) imposeddeath penalty on the accused and said that the accused deserved it for the harsh act he had done and there can be no alternative for this punishment.

The mother of the victim also said that she was satisfied with the decision of the court and that justice was finally given to her and her family.

She also gave a message to the society that we should not find any alternative to earn money especially by doing any wrong which will destroy the life of others as well as that person itself.
