Gurugram Police Summer Internship on Cyber Security

Today, i.e., June 18th, 2018, 6th Gurugram Police Cyber Security Summer Internship was inaugurated by Sandeep Khirwar, Commissioner of Police, Gurugram along with Sumit Kumar, DCP Crime. On this occasion, other police officers were also present.

"To fight the rising challenge of Cyber Crimes and give right direction to the young minds who have a very positive inclination towards cyber security created this platform to harness their potential and giving them the right direction of Cyber Security Road Map. Also, our intention behind this concept is to create Cyber Safety Ambassador across the nation who can promote Cyber Safety and create LAW ABIDING NETIZENS," said Commissioner of police.

He further said, "As Gurugram Police, we are always in pursuit of excellence for its Cyber Crime Detection Unit, and we are also actively promoting Cyber Security among the general public. Further, we are updating Public Interface systems and internal police processes, leveraging technology and modern management processes to improve our efficiency, effectiveness, and transparency. We want to work with engineering and management students and leverage their assistance in this process."

100 students from different parts of the nation participated in this three weeks Summer Internship Programme. The programme will be guided and Coordinated by ACP Cyber Crime. Domain Experts from all the fields will come and deliver the training sessions to students during the course.

 6th Gurugram Police Cyber Security Summer Internship

The Commissioner of Police, Gurugram also welcomed the students and took a brief introduction of all the participants. The Participants present were from Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Tamil Naidu, Andhra Pradesh, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Delhi, Bihar, Gujarat, Punjab, etc.

In the 21 days of training, they will cover Cyber Safety, Cyber Laws, AI, IOT, Block Chain, and Forensics and will also visit the Cyber Police Station in Gurugram.
