Police Nab Bootlegger With 76 Cartons Of Illegal Liquor

The police have caught a man with a huge cache of illegal liquor being taken to distribute further.

The accused identified as Rizwan 23 years, resident of Tilak Nagar was found to be carrying 76 cartons of liquor that amounts to be 675 litres. The Lok Sabha elections are said to have spiked the number of cases of bootlegging in the city.

The Supro Mini Truck Bajaj DL 1L 0741 used for transportation has been taken into custody by the police team comprising ASI Subhash Chand and Head Constable Yashvir Singh, Head Constable Kapil and others. The case has been registered and further investigation is on to track down other details in this matter.
