Medical Shop Selling Prohibited Medicines To Juveniles Without Prescription

The police have found a chemist shop selling illegal medicines to juveniles and that too without doctor's prescription. During a regular check, a team under ACP Kalyanpuri found three juveniles who were carrying a packet containing an avil vial, two syringes and two extra needles.

It was learnt that the illegal medical shop had been running in the old Kondli area of PS New Ashok Nagar where prohibited medicines were being sold to the juveniles. The police have registered three cases under Section 77 of Juvenile Justice (Care and Protection of Children) Act, 2015.

Those arrested have been identified as Sudeep Sharma 42 years and Sanjeev Sharma 39 years. It further revealed that the shop was being run without the license of pharmacy.  It came to be known that they hired a licence for rupees 3000 per month. The case has been registered and further probe is underway.
