Two 3 Year Olds Sexually Assaulted by School Sweeper Massive Protests in Maharashtras Badlapur

Maharashtra: Sexual assault of two 3-year-old girls in Maharashtra's Badlapur has sparked massive protests in the district.

The two girls, students of nursery school faced assault from the school sweeper; the accused has been arrested.

Accused arrested, Principal suspended

An FIR was registered in this case on the night of August 16 and the sweeper has also been arrested.

The management of a school at Badlapur has suspended its Principal and two staffers in connection with the alleged sexual assault of two minors.

School Admin Attempted to Suppress Matter

The school administration pressurized the family to suppress the matter and the police made the victim sit in the police station for 12 hours. 
When people protested, the case was registered. Today hundreds of citizens took to the streets in support of these girls and demanded that the accused be hanged.

Mumbai local train services on Central Line were hit on Tuesday morning after people gathered in large numbers at the Badlapur railway station and stopped trains as part of protests against the alleged sexual assault of two four-year-old school children by a cleaning staff member and the “delay” in police action.
The Central Railway said local trains were stopped at the Badlapur railway station. “From 10.10 am, the train movement is held up at the Badlapur railway station due to protest over non-railway issues,” CR officials said.
