BJP Kapil Mishra AAP Satyendar Jain Defamation Case

Senior Aam Aadmi Party leader and Delhi Health Minister Satyendar Jain said that BJP leader Kapil Mishra has tendered an unconditional apology to him, before a Delhi court.

He said that Kapil Mishra accepted that his comments were politically motivated and had no ground to such allegations and did that with a political purpose.

The accusations made by Kapil Mishra were extremely offensive and had left Satyendar Jain completely distressed.

Because of these allegations, Satyendar Jain was expelled by the Aam Aadmi Party in 2017.

Kapil Mishra had accused Satyendar Jain of offering a bribe to Delhi's Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal with an amount of 2 crore.

Satyendar Jain filed a complained for criminal defamation under section 499 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860.

Advocate Gautam Dhamija and. Vaibhav Yadav were the counsel representing Satyendar Jain.

Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Vishal Pahuja allowed Satyender Jain to withdraw his complaint after Kapil Mishra tendered an unconditional apology to him.
