PM Modi Condemns Manipur Violence, Says Guilty Will Not Be Spared

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has condemned the violence in Manipur, where two women were paraded naked and one of them was allegedly gang-raped. PM Modi said that the guilty will not be spared.


The incident took place on 4th May, 2023, in the Imphal West district of Manipur. The two women were reportedly taken from their homes by a group of men and paraded naked through the streets. One of the women was allegedly gang-raped.


The incident has sparked outrage across the country. PM Modi called the incident "heinous" and said that the guilty will not be spared. He also assured the people of Manipur that the government will take all necessary steps to bring the perpetrators to justice.


The Manipur government has also condemned the incident and has ordered a probe. The state police have arrested four men in connection with the case.
