Jammu TADA Court Rubaiya Sayeed Mehbooba Mufti

Jammu TADA Court issues summons to Rubaiya Sayeed, sister of Mehbooba Mufti, in case of her kidnapping by Yasin Malik in 1989, as a witness in the trial against him. She will be cross-examined by lawyers from both sides on 12 & 13 July.

Order: In the mean time, pending further orders, in para 36 of the impugned order the High Court opined that the bail was granted to the petitioner on the ground of age and his medical conditions apart from the fact in most of the cases he has been bailed out.

Order: till the next of the order the para 39 of the impugned order shall remain stayed.

Justice Chandrachud: We have stayed the main point in the impugned order, other conditions for the grant of bail may be there.

Senior Advocate Kapil Sibal appearing for Khan: Milords there are other conditions as well like conducting day to day hearings.

Justice Chandrachud: These are the normal conditions that every single judge outs in Allahabad.

Sibal: I have never seen that Milords.
