The apex court, however, told him to mind his words as the minister.

The court asked his counsel to approach the High Court which was seized of the matter, as she sought a direction for no coercive action in the FIR lodged against him on May 14.

"Go and apply to the High Court, we will hear the matter on Friday," the bench told the counsel.

The counsel claimed the statement was taken out of context by the media.

She also said the Minister has tendered his apology.

Shah questioned validity of the High Court's order passed in a suo motu proceedings for lodging the FIR against him for promoting enmity and hatred.
