Supreme Court Bench to hear Prashant Bhushan plea

SupremeCourt Bench of Justices UU Lalit, S Ravindra Bhat, and Sudhanshu Dhulia to hear Prashant Bhushan plea re: intra-court appeals for contempt matters by different/larger Bench

ASG Natraj: Law Ministry about whether we can provide such appeal have to get instructions.

Order: issue notice, matter to be heard for final disposal in September.

J Lalit: Mr Dhawan, something like curative sought? Essentially asking for complete change in quorum?
Adv: yes

Adv: and open court hearing. There is an English case.

Bench: We'll consider it during hearing.

Order: Issue notice returnable on 27 September. We proceed to hear the matter. Dr Dhawan has ensured that all relevant judgment complications will be filed before next hearing.
