Supreme Court to hear plea filed by AG Perarivalan seeking release from the prison based on the recommendation made by the State Government in September 2018

SG: I am in an over night part heard matter before Court 3. I am on my legs, can the matter be considered on Monday or Tuesday.

Bench: You should have tell us early. We spent time for reading this and we thought that these matters will go on.

Senior Advocate Gopal Sankaranarayanan (GS) for AG Perarivalan: I am in jail for 30 years.  Governor's decisions needs to be taken on record.

Bench: On the ground of immunity, we cannot ask the Governor to not pass any order.

SG: I need to take instructions on that.

Bench: You take instructions but we cannot grant more adjournments.

Bench: We'll consider this in January.
