Supreme Court hearing on urgent matter on pil is filed in Jharkhand HC Against CM & other individuals

Sr Adv Kapil Sibal mentions: This is a serious matter i seek to mention. A pil is filed in Jharkhand HC (against CM & other individuals) which is not yet admitted, ED comes and hands over sealed cover

Sr Adv Kapil Sibal mentions: I object to it, in these proceedings FIR isnt registered. HC has looked at sealed cover & theyve now said theyll transfer it to CBI. Ive told them now Ill mention it here.

Bench- somebody else filed PIL?

Sibal: Yes against CM, individuals etc. CBI ED made parties. We said how can you take these documents on record!

Sr Adv Mukul Rohatgi: Court is on leave, theres nothing urgent in this case. Everyday is being listed at 2 pm.

Rohatgi: Sealed cover documents are being filed, not shown to us. Pls list tomorrow

Sr Adv Kapil Sibal: I told the HC not to proceed since I am mentioning it here. Now vacation bench is hearing it regualarly what is this?
