Supreme Court lawyer allegedly killed by husband after she opposed sale of bungalow in Noida

The husband of Supreme Court lawyer Renu Sinha has been arrested for allegedly murdering her at their Noida bungalow. Nitin Nath Sinha reportedly hid in the bungalow's storeroom before police tracked down his phone and apprehended him.

Renu Sinha's body was discovered in the bathroom of their bungalow in Noida Sector 30 on Saturday. She resided there with her husband, while their son lived abroad. According to media reports, a First Information Report (FIR) under Section 302 (murder) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) was registered against her husband.

It is said that the lawyer's brother had accused her husband of murdering Renu Sinha. According to reports, the motive behind the lawyer's murder was a disagreement between the couple over the sale of their Noida bungalow. However, the investigation is ongoing.
