New Delhi: In a significant step towards enhancing the working environment for legal professionals, the Honble Chief Justice of India, along with Companion Judges, inaugurated a new set of facilities for advocates today at the Supreme Court of Indias Block-D in the Additional Building Complex.
The newly inaugurated amenities include 68 cubicles for advocates, providing them with dedicated spaces to work and consult with clients. Additionally, the facilities feature lockers for personal storage, cabins for Oath Commissioners, a consultation room, a stationery shop, a chemist shop, and a common waiting area for litigants and visitors. The waiting area has a seating capacity for approximately 50 persons, ensuring comfort and convenience for those awaiting court proceedings.
This development reflects the Supreme Courts commitment to supporting the legal community and other stakeholders by creating a conducive environment for legal practice. The new facilities are expected to streamline daily operations and enhance the overall efficiency of legal professionals working at the Supreme Court.
