SupremeCourt hears a petition filed by a set of Sarpanches in an interstate land dispute between Andhra Pradesh and Orissa.

Advocate Bina Madhavan: This is a petition under Art 32 by five elected Sarpanches.

This area falls in Salur district of Vizianagaram of Andhra Pradesh. There seems to be a dispute raised by Orissa.

Adv Madhavan: They had come to this court in a 131 suit, ever since the reorganisation and after the foundation of AP state, AP alone has been conducting elections.
