Union government withdraws three bills aimed at replacing the Indian Penal Code (IPC), Criminal Procedure Code (CrPC), and Indian Evidence Act 1872. New versions of the bills, incorporating recommendations from the Parliamentary Standing Committee on Home, are set to be introduced.
