Lawyer Tejasvi Surya Is BJP candidate For Bangalore South Constituency

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on March 25, 2019, named 28-year-old lawyer Tejasvi Surya as its candidate for Bangalore South constituency. The prestigious seat was previously held by late Union minister Ananth Kumar.

Tejasvi Surya, the general secretary of the BJP Youth Wing in Karnataka is the party's youngest candidate. He is the nephew of BJP lawmaker Ravi Subramanya.

He received his law degree from Bangalore Institute of Legal Studies (BILS) and thereafter, started practicing at the Karnataka High Court.
