Supreme Court Advocates get anonymous calls taking responsibility for PM Modi Security Breach; threatens Supreme Court not to hear case.

Advocate on Records received a threatening call at 10:40 AM in the PM Security Lapse case from an international number subscribed out of the United Kingdom. The call was an automated call; it warned the Supreme Court Advocates and Supreme Court not to pursue the case where Prime Minister Security was said to be defaulted by the Punjab Government. The security lapse incident happened at a Hussainwala flyover in Punjab, where the Prime Minister went to inaugurate a development project.

The automated call to many advocates said that "the Supreme Court never took any action till date on the 1984 Sikh genocide in which thousands of Sikh persons were killed" in retaliation to the murder of the then Prime Minister Indira Gandhi by her Sikh bodyguards.

It also took the responsibility for the protest at the Hussainwala Flyover that stoped the PM convey for around 15-20 minutes.

The Supreme Court on 7th January ordered to preserve the travel record related to the PMs visit and suspended the inquiry of the state and the centre inquiry committees till the court hears the matter further.

A plea has been filed by an organisation called Lawyers Voice before the Supreme Court. It has sought the suspension of Punjab Chief Secretary Anirudh Tewari and Director General of Police Sidharth Chattopadhyaya.

The plea stated the security lapse was intentional and blamed the Congress government in Punjab for the same.

"The security lapse, as per reliable reports in the print and the electronic media, and as per the Press Information Bureau report of Central Government, was clearly intentional and raises a serious question as to national security and the role played by the present political dispensation in the State of Punjab," the plea said.
