Techo-Legal Expert Vijay Sardana Felicitated by the Development Academy of Philippines for his contribution in the Agricultural Transformation for Food Security Workshop

The Development Academy of Philippines is a government-controlled corporation that believes in developing principles, technologies, and techniques of local, national, and International importance. It also capacitates individuals and mandates efficient development while facilitating policies and systems towards a holistic perspective through the conduct of training, policy/action-oriented researches, and education in good governance and productivity improvement. 

Recently, it felicitated Mr. Vijay Sardana with a certificate of appreciation for being a resource person for their workshop on agricultural transformation for food security which was conducted by the Academy’s Productivity and Development Centre on October 5 – 7, 2020 via Zoom. 

Mr. Sardana is a well-known Advocate and Techno-Legal Expert for Food, Consumer Products, Agri-commodities, and Investment. He is an Independent Director on various Boards & Member of Expert Committees and boasts rich experience as a corporate manager, speaker, writer, author, blogger, corporate trainer, and TV panelist. 

He was awarded by the DAP for his exemplary work and contribution on economic policy, economy, and issues impacting global and national trade and rural economy including food, agriculture, and consumer issues. It is also worth noting that as an ardent Agricultural Economist, Mr. Sardana has actively been trying to make people aware of the benefits of the proposed Farm Laws, which have otherwise been termed controversial. 

Mr. Pranab Mukherjee, the Hon’ble President of India presented the special contribution award to Mr. Sardana for the development of commodity markets in India. He was also presented with the Global Agriculture Leadership Award for exceptional contribution towards the development of Food businesses and Commodity Trade by the Governor of Haryana and Uttar Pradesh.
