Bizarre Divorce Cockroach Phobia

In Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh, a marriage may end up in divorce after a couple changed eighteen houses in the last three years due to the woman's crippling fear of cockroaches.

The husband, a city-based software engineer was not aware of the phobia of his wife before the marriage. In 2017, the woman revealed her phobia when she saw a cockroach in the kitchen.  She screamed her lungs out and even refused to enter the kitchen again and insisted to shift to a new house.

In 2018, the couple moved for the first time and after that, they continued to move for the next three years. Since their wedding, the couple has moved into eighteen new houses, but all in vain.

As per the reports, the man is now tired of moving into new houses due to which he wants a divorce.

In addition, the husband has attempted to get his wife tested at a number of psychiatric institutions professionals, including AIIMS. However, the woman has denied to take her medicine and has accused her husband of falsely declaring her as a mental health patient.

The case was even taken to the men's rights organization BHAI Welfare Society, but the issue wasn't resolved. Thus, the husband is now exhausted and wishes to seek divorce.
