Travesty of Dr. Bhimrao Ramji Ambedkar ideas

By LawStreet News Network      14 April, 2018 01:02 AM      1 Comments

Dr. B. R. Ambedkar was Independent IndiaS 1st Law Minister who also acted as an architect of the Indian Constitution. Dr. Ambedkars name comes at the top when the topic is of reservation and social discrimination against the minorities.

He made several laws which were in favour of people who were unprivileged. Dr. Ambedkar proposed equality and fraternity in consonance with the principle of democracy.

The purpose of those laws were to uplift the minorities, but now in 2018 its not about upliftment anymore, people taking it as their right are now agitating to be a minority.

Being in the clutches of its policies, India is obstructing its own growth. At the time when its neighbouring country Bangladesh taking a big leap into the future by scraping reservation in the Government jobs, India is increasing the percentage of reservation.

Its high time that India revamp its policies and honour the name of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar.
