The Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath-led Uttar Pradesh government has issued an order directing authorities to remove illegal loudspeakers from all religious places. As per media reports, over 3,000 loudspeakers have been removed so far.

According to the guidelines for the use of loudspeakers at religious places, stating that only one loudspeaker is allowed per establishment, regardless of whether it is a temple, mosque, or gurdwara.
