Former Indigo President Aditya Ghosh appointed to Fabindia Board of Directors

Businesses all over the world are preparing to renew strategies and deliberate upon a new model for the post-pandemic world. Fabindia, a famous brand name in ethnic wear is renewing its model. The retail brand is looking to adapt to the changed consumer behaviour in the post COVID-19 scenario and focus on sustainable initiatives.

In order to successfully transition, the retail company has now appointed Aditya Ghosh as a member on its board of directors. Aditya is a prominent name in the business sphere in the country. He has rich experience of dealing with legal matters as well as he practiced law and was a part of one of the most significant law firms in India, J. Sagar & Associates. After his legal run he chose to switch over to business and offer his expertise. He has been at important positions for industry giants. The former president of IndiGo airlines, Ghosh will be working closely with the management teams on strategy, new initiatives and growth. 

He is also currently on the board of the young hospitality venture OYO hotels and homes, and also sits on the board of Fireside ventures and Nani Palkhivala Arbitration Centre. 

After his appointment, he said-

The apparel company has become a household name. It operates 327 stores across 118 cities in India and 14 countries internationally. Its board of directors include significant names like Sean Sovak from Lighthouse Funds, former MD of Britannia Industries Vinita Bali, Bharat Mitra from Organic India and former wipro CEO TK Kurien.
