Aditya Pancholi Defamation Case: Kangana Ranaut And Sister Rangoli Summoned By Court; Hearing On July 26

By LawStreet News Network      28 June, 2019 12:00 AM      0 Comments

The Mumbai court has reportedly issued a summon to Kangana Ranaut and her sister Rangoli Chandel on the criminal defamation case that was filed by Aditya Pancholi in 2017.

Bollywood actor Aditya Pancholi filed the case against the two after Kangana Ranaut had sent an email application to the Versova police about an 'assault and exploitation' incident that allegedly happened 13 years ago.

Claiming that the accusations are false, Aditya had earlier said, "This is a conspiracy against me. I was surprised when the Versova cops reached out to me with a notice on April 25 this year at my residence."

Aditya's lawyer Shreya Srivastava speaking to the media said, "There were four summons issued, one Aditya Pancholi Vs Kangana Ranaut, Aditya Pancholi Vs Rangoli Chandel and Zarina Wahab Vs Kangana Ranaut and Zarina Vahab VS Rangoli Chandel.

"The next hearing in the matter is on 26th July, where the actress is supposed to be present for the case, she added.

Recently, Aditya's wife Zarina Wahab had also spoken up in her husband's defence. She had said, "I know him better than anyone else. He has never hidden anything from me. I know what has happened in the past. He has done no wrong."
