Key Witness of NCB Prabhakar Sail Aryan Khan Case Dies

Prabhakar Sail, a key witness of the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) in the drug case against Aryan Khan, died of a heart attack at his residence in Mumbai on Friday, 1 April, according to reports.

"Prabhakar Sail, 37, died of a heart attack at his house in Mahul (Chembur) on Friday evening," a police official stated.

The official said that Sail was taken to the civic-run Rajawadi Hospital in Mumbai's Ghatkopar, where he was declared 'brought dead'.

The news was also confirmed by his lawyer Tushar Khandar, who said that Sail's family members do not suspect any foul play.

Meanwhile, Maharashtra Home Minister Dilip Walse Patil has announced that the state Director General of Police (DGP) will be probing Sail's death.

Sail became a witness in the case based on a conversation he overheard, according to which, a payoff of Rs 25 crore was discussed between KP Gosavi a witness whose selfie with Aryan Khan went viral after the cruise raid and one Sam D'Souza.

Sail had filed an affidavit stating that he heard KP Gosavi say you put a bomb of Rs. 25 cr, lets settle for 18 cr and give 8 cr to Wankhade.
