Netflixs Sacred Games: Police Complaint Filed Against Actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui. [Read Complaint]

A Congress leader from West Bengal Mr. Rajeev Kumar Sinha filed a police complaint against actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Netflix and producers of the web series Sacred Games on Tuesday (July 10th 2018) which stated that they all are responsible for abusing late Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi in the show.

The complaint was filed at the Girish Park Police Station, Kolkata around 12 noon with two copies marked to the police commissioner, joint commissioner of police (crime) and deputy commissioner (central division).

Mr. Rajeev Kumar Sinha said, Officers at the station said they will forward the complaint to the higher authorities and send me the FIR number in the next two to three days.

Rajiv Sinha, in his letter to the Kolkata Police, said that Nawazuddin as Ganesh Gaitonde "abused our late Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi calling him fattu, which translated as pu*** in the subtitle". He also accused the producers of the show of "misrepresenting facts during his regime," and the serial also crosses all limits of decency."

The officer in charge at Girish Park police station, Kolkata have accepted the complaint which is yet to be verified.

Netflix India has refused to comment on the development.
