Oprah Winfrey - famous Talk show host and TV producer on the latest episode of “The Me You Can’t See” an American documentary-series talked about the horrifying incident of her being raped by her teenage cousin at the age tender of 9, 10,11 and 12 who was then 19. 

She broke down while remembering the tragic incident, she mentioned that at that age she was not aware what “rape” was, moreover she was not even aware if any such word existed. 

She had no idea what was happening with her and nor did she know where babies came from. The 67-year recollected her experience and how it taught her that a girl child isn’t safe in the world of men. 1986 was the first time she realised what raped was. The revelation occurred to the Philanthropist when she was working with the survivors of child sexual abuse and their abusers on a talk show, she talked about how she was sexually assaulted by her mother’s boyfriend. 

The documentary series “The Me You Can’t See” was created by Oprah Winfrey and Prince Harry, the series focus on mental Heath issues and the emotional well being of people all around the world. The series moves in a storytelling way which helps to give a voice to the survivors who are fighting for truth and compassion and raise their voice. 

Lady Gaga a well-known Singer and music producer on 22nd May opened up about being raped by a music producer at the age of 19. Earlier this year, Prince Harry and Megan Markle had opened up about their mental health and their struggles in the royal family. Glen Close also shared her traumatic incident of being “psychologically traumatized” because of her upbringing in a cult.
