Shocking Revelations in SSR Case: Mumbai Police Commissioner Briefs Media, States no direct transfer of funds to Rhea Chakraborty found

With every passing day, new shocking revelations are being made in the SSR death case. On Monday Mumbai Police Commissioner Param Bir Singh issued a formal statement to the media about their ongoing investigation into the actors demise.

In a press conference, the Mumbai Police Commissioner gave statements: -

  • Sushant would search for articles and his name on Google to find out what was being written about him. He would also search for painless death, schizophrenia and bipolar disorder.
  • On June 16 the family members of the late actor including his father, three sisters, and brother-in-law have given their statements to the city police. He claimed that they had not alleged any foul play at that point in time.
  • The Mumbai police have gone through the accounts of the late actor and are yet to find anything fishy. The investigating officials are however counting with their probe.
  • During the probe, we found that he had Rs. 18 crores in his account of which around Rs. 4.5 crores are still there. Till now no direct transfer to Rhea Chakrabortys account found. We are still probing.
  • Till now statements of 56 people have been recorded, all angles are being investigated be it a professional rivalry, financial transactions or health.
  • The flat was sealed that day (June 14) itself. The next day on June 15, forensic terms and doctors visited the flat and completed their investigations there, only after that the flat was unsealed.
  • It has come to surface that he had bipolar disorder, he was undergoing treatment and taking medicines for it. What circumstances led to his death is the subject of our investigation.
  • About tug-of-war with Bihar police: there is no question of non-cooperation, we are legally examining whether they (Bihar Police) have jurisdiction or not.
  • No politicians name came up during the investigation. There is no evidence against any politician from any party.
