Delhi's IGI Airport has lately hit the headlines about some 'conman' cheating passengers of their money. The cheat targets innocent fliers under the garb of an airline booking agent, he would promise that he would get the flier a new ticket. Constable Rohtash Yadav of CISF surveillance team deployed at the alighting point patrolling the area of terminal-3 noticed a visitor of the same description. He was intercepted and enquired. When asked he denied any involvement, however, after sustained interrogation, he confessed to the crime.

The accused was identified as Abhishek Verma of Jaunpur (UP), he works with UP PWD as Junior Assistant. On physical search, a mobile phone, an Aadhaar card (in the name of Priyanka), Pan Card, UP PWD departmental ID card, INR 18000 and Nepalese currency of 30 denomination were recovered from his possession.
