Dreaded Criminal of Kala Gang Caught

The Dwarka district police have arrested a desperate criminal, alleged to be a member of Sandeep Kala gang and recovered one sophisticated pistol with 5 live cartridges, one country made pistol and two spent cartridges. The police also recovered one Suzuki Sport mobike with forged registration number HR 10Z-5458 from the accused identified as Vikas alias Vicky.

Keeping in view the sudden spike in crime, a team comprising HC Sunil, constable Navdeep and constable Deepak led by the officiating SHO BHD Nagar inspector Vipin Yadav under the close supervision of Vijay Singh Yadav ACP sub-division Najafgarh was constituted. During patrolling, a blue colour sports bike HR10Z 5458 came from the Dichaun Nala side, being driven by two boys. HC Sunil and constable Navdeep flagged them down but they immediately turned the bike and tried to escape. Sunil rammed his bike into theirs and they skidded off the bike and started running back in the opposite direction.

Sunil and Deepak ran towards one of the boys who had a pistol in his hand whereas Navdeep chased the other boy who ran away in the opposite direction.

One of the accused opened fire on Sunil and Deepak and even threatened to kill them. They had a narrow escape. In the meantime, Sunil and Deepak pulled out their service pistols and both fired one round each in the air. After a brief struggle, they  overpowered the accused with his pistol. However, the other accused who was chased by Navdeep, he whipped out his pistol and stopped one biker, robbed him of his bike and fled on his Honda Splendor  motorcycle, registration number DL4SB-0170 .

When Vikas was searched, the police recovered a pistol and cartridges from him.

During interrogation, Vikas  disclosed the name of his associate Arun from Rohtak, Haryana who is still at large.

Accordingly, a case vide FIR No. 120/19, dated 14.03.19, under Sections 186, 353, 307, 397, 506 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860, & 25 and 27 of the Arms Act, 1959, has been registered at PS BHD Nagar.

"During interrogation, he disclosed that he belongs to Sandeep @ Kala Jathedia Gang of Haryana and he had committed three murders within a short duration of seven days along with his associates. Vikas with two accomplices shot dead his real grandfather Ram Pal in his Village Gaddi Kheri, Rohtak. On March 9, 2019, he with his four accomplices shot dead a bus driver in village Nahra, Sonepat. On March 14, 2019, he with his eight accomplices, all armed with deadly weapons shot dead one liquor contractor Narender alias Nanda at Bhalgarh," Anto Alphonse DCP Dwarka said. Vikas entered the world of crime after his parents' death. He joined the Kala Jathedia Gang and committed robbery, murders and other heinous crimes with his associates Raju Basodia, Pawan Totla alias Pahalwan, Sachin alias Bhanja, Sachin Dabhoda, Arun Sampla and Mohit Sampla. The case has been registered and further probe is underway.
