Sameer Wankhede, NCB Move Sessions Court Against Attempts To Scuttle Probe In Aryan Khan Drug Case

The Zonal Director of NCB, Sameer Wankhede moved the Mumbai Sessions court in connection with the Aryan Khan drug case seeking directions to prevent attempts to create hurdles and scuttle the ongoing investigation.

The application prayed that there should be no tampering with the investigation or evidence, and the zonal director said that personal allegations are being levelled against him and his family.

It was widely reported in media that the bodyguard of independent witness KP Gosavi has stated on affidavit that the NCB made him sign a blank panchnama in the cruise ship drugs case, in which Aryan Khan, has been implicated. Wankhede assured the court that he was ready to face any any legal proceedings to establish his innocence.

NCB also claimed that the affidavit mentions about a lady meeting one of the Panchas and alleged having influenced the witness when the investigation was ongoing, showing the malafide attempt to ensure the same is derailed.

Paragraph 13 of the affidavit mentions about one Pooja Dadlani who is the manager of Bollywood actor Shahrukh Khan meeting Gosavi.

Special Judge VV Patil after hearing the counsel reserved orders which will be pronounced today (October 25, 2021) afternoon.
