Miscreant Sends Fake Resignation Letter In The Name Of Additional Sessions Judge To The Chief Justice Of Gujarat High Court

The Additional  Sessions Judge, Pratik Tamakuwala was shocked when he learnt that a resignation letter in his name was sent to the Chief Justice of High Court of Gujarat as well as the Registrar.

BACKGROUND

The Additional Sessions Judge came to know about the resignation letter when the Principal District Judge of Surendranagar questioned him about the reason for his sudden decision to resign from the post. The Additional Sessions Judge has been posted at Limbdi since May 2019 & has been in judicial services since 2004.

COMPLAINT

The Judge filed a complaint at Limbdi police station for forgery, making a false document in the name of a fictitious person, defamation, printing of matter known to be defamatory & other charges at Limbdi police station.

POLICE REPORT 

The police held that the Principle District Judge had questioned Pratik Tamakuwala about his sudden resignation and along with that he had attached a copy of the resignation which as the Judge stated was not written or sent by him, and after receiving this message the Additional Sessions Judge was shocked and decided to file a complaint. 

Furthermore, the Sub-Inspector V N Chaudhary of Limbdi Police Station stated that a miscreant had sent the letter to the registrar and the Chief Justice of Gujarat High Court, and the registrar forwarded it to the Principle District Judge. 

ALLEGATIONS

The Additional Sessions Judge held in front of the police that the letter was written by the miscreant as an attempt to defame him, affect his career and bar him from getting benefits of his job.
