[Breaking]: Shaheen Bagh Shooter, Kapil Gurjar Admits Being AAP Member To Delhi Police, Pictures With AAP Members Recovered From His Mobile Phone

[Breaking]: Shaheen Bagh Shooter, Kapil Gurjar Admits Being AAP Member To Delhi Police, Pictures With AAP Members Recovered From His Mobile Phone

The Delhi police today (February 4, 2020) reportedly claimed that the man who opened fired at Delhis Shaheen Bagh at Anti-CAA (Citizenship Amendment Act, 2019) protestors, namely Kapil Gurjar is a member of the Aam Aadmi Party. AAP has denied these allegations saying it is all a part of Bhartiya Janta Partys (BJP) dirty politics. The Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP), Crime Branch, Rajesh Deo has informed reporters that Gurjar himself divulged the fact that he had joined AAP in 2019 during an interrogation. The police allegedly recovered his mobile phone during arrest which has pictures of Gurjar accepting garlands and standing in group photos with renowned AAP members like Sanjay Singh and Atishi.

The police has informed the court of this unexpected turn of events. Allegedly, Gurjar has also disclosed that his father, Gaje Singh was also a member of AAP, both of them having joined the party in 2019. On the other hand, Sanjay Singh of the Aam Aadmi Party was reported saying, There is no point in releasing such photographs. This is part of BJP's dirty politics. Crime should be investigated and stern action should be taken against the culprit. This fact has come to light right after the release of the Times Now Poll report this morning, which predicts a sweeping victory for the Aam Aadmi Party in the Delhi Assembly Elections which will be held on the 8th of February, 2020. The poll says AAP is going to bag 50-60 out of the 70 seats which are being contested for; BJP might win 10 and Congress 2. However, the same poll reveals that if Lok Sabha elections were conducted right now, BJP would win all 7 seats from Delhi, just like last year.

In reaction to this development, AAPs Sanjay Singh was also reported asking, Amit Shah is the Home Minister of the country at this time, now just before elections, photos and conspiracies will be found. Three-four days are left for the elections; BJP will do as much dirty politics as they can. What does having a picture with someone mean?

The police custody of Gurjar has been extended by two days by the Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, Gurmohina Kaur who was hearing the matter while the police was seeking a four-day extension.

The investigating officer in the case while exposing the fact that Gurjars WhatsApp account was deliberately deleted, said, Time and place of the incident clearly indicate that the incident of using firearms is a part of a larger conspiracy which is to be unearthed. He (Gurjar) is associated with different groups on WhatsApp. He is to be interrogated regarding the other members of these groups keeping in view the possibility of larger conspiracy. He then added, The account has been retrieved and most of the data has been recovered. Due to shortage of time it could not be analyzed. The data is bulky in nature and he needs to be confronted with it.

In reply to allegations by AAP of BJPs involvement in this conspiracy, BJP Chief, JP Nadda was reported saying, People of the country and Delhi today saw the dirty face of AAP.
