Call for Papers International Conference on Environment and Sustainable Development at Gauhati University in Collaboration with UNDP

Guwahati, Assam — The Postgraduate Department of Law, Gauhati University, in collaboration with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), invites scholars, legal professionals, researchers, and policymakers to participate in the International Conference on “Environment and Sustainable Development: Addressing Global Challenges through Collaborative Action”, scheduled for 18th and 19th September 2025.

This high-impact, hybrid-format conference provides an excellent platform to discuss critical environmental issues and Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), with special focus on:

  • SDG 6 – Clean Water and Sanitation
  • SDG 7 – Affordable and Clean Energy
  • SDG 12 – Responsible Consumption and Production
  • SDG 13 – Climate Action
  • SDG 15 – Life on Land

Conference Objectives

The conference seeks to:

  • Critically examine legal frameworks for environmental protection at national and international levels.
  • Promote strategies that balance economic growth with ecological sustainability.
