New Delhi: At a time when legal victories are often reduced to headlines and statistics, the Fight 4 Justice Awards 2025 seek to restore focus on the human courage, constitutional conviction, and moral resistance that give real meaning to the rule of law. The third edition of the awards will be held on December 20, 2025, at the India Stein Auditorium, India Habitat Centre, New Delhi, organised by Live4Freedom in collaboration with the Delhi High Court Bar Association (DHCBA).
Conceived as a platform to recognise landmark legal struggles rather than mere outcomes, Fight 4 Justice honours individuals, cases, and movements that carried the idea of justice beyond courtrooms and into lived realities. The awards foreground resistance against entrenched power, institutional inertia, silence, and systemic exclusion—reaffirming the belief that justice is not automatic, but must be actively fought for.
Chief Guest and Institutional Support
The 2025 edition will be graced by Justice N. Kotiswar Singh, Hon’ble Judge of the Supreme Court of India, as the Chief Guest. His presence underscores the constitutional gravity and judicial ethos that the awards seek to celebrate.
The event reflects a rare and meaningful collaboration between Live4Freedom, the principal initiative behind Fight 4 Justice, and the Delhi High Court Bar Association, one of India’s most influential bar bodies. The association’s institutional backing lends credibility and continuity to an initiative that places conscience at the centre of legal practice.
Speaking ahead of the event, N. Hariharan, Senior Advocate and President of the Delhi High Court Bar Association, said the awards honour moments when law transcends procedure and becomes conscience, reminding the legal fraternity of its role as a guardian of constitutional values and public trust.
Live4Freedom and the Vision Behind Fight 4 Justice
Fight 4 Justice is spearheaded by Live4Freedom, under the leadership of its partners Suneal Mangal and Anand Bhardwaj. The initiative was conceptualised to acknowledge legal battles that reshape lived realities—often without visibility, recognition, or institutional support at the time they were fought.
According to the organisers, the awards deliberately move away from celebrity-centric recognition and instead focus on impact, courage, and constitutional significance. From criminal justice and women’s rights to environmental protection, labour, tribal rights, disability rights, governance, and access to justice, Fight 4 Justice reflects the breadth of law’s engagement with society.
Jury, Legal Oversight, and Credibility
The awards are adjudicated by a distinguished jury comprising senior jurists, advocates, and administrators, chaired by Justice Rajendra Menon, Chairman of the Armed Forces Tribunal and former Chief Justice of the Delhi High Court. The jury also includes Justice Kailash Gambhir, N. Hariharan, Mohit Mathur, Jatan Singh, Vikram Singh Panwar, Dr. Renu Sharma, Justice Kodanda Ram, Sanjay Singh, and Dr. Anoop Bose.
Senior Advocate Jatan Singh, who also serves as Legal Advisor to the initiative, plays a key role in ensuring that the awards process adheres to rigorous legal standards, credibility, and fairness—reinforcing the seriousness with which the platform approaches recognition.
Live Broadcast and LawStreet Journal Coverage
The entire awards ceremony will be live-streamed on YouTube on December 20, 2025, from 6:30 PM onwards, with LawStreet Journal bringing the event directly to audiences across India and beyond. Eminent voices from the judiciary, Bar, administration, and civil leadership are expected to participate, making it a significant moment in the legal calendar.
As justice continues to be tested in courtrooms and on the streets, Fight 4 Justice Awards 2025 stand as a reminder that the law’s true legacy lies not only in judgments delivered, but in courage displayed—and in the relentless pursuit of dignity, equality, and freedom.
The Delhi High Court Bar Association proudly supports the Live4Freedom initiative.
