Their expertise spans litigation, commercial and corporate transactions, IP, employment, immigration, compliance and regulatory matters. Their broad remit involves managing legal business matters, advising on legal issues affecting our business, coordinating outside counsel and reviewing legal data. Essential Requirements

  • LL.B degree from a recognized university. Candidates from National Law School & Campus Law Centre to be preferred

Desirable Requirements

  • Preferred if the resource has a degree/diploma/ post-graduate degree relating to IPR, IT, and/or Business Laws.

Key Abilities/ Attributes

  • Preferred if the resource has a degree/diploma/ post-graduate degree relating to IPR, IT, and/or Business Laws.
  • Success in this role will require a deep understanding of our business and the ability to build great relationships at all levels across the company. The candidate will be required to demonstrate initiative, enthusiasm and resourcefulness, and maintain a strong work ethic and a high degree of accountability. The candidate should enjoy multi-tasking and operating independently and multi-functionally and are flexible and willing to work through day-to-day manual tasks. The profile must have a high attention to detail and willingness to learn and should possess strong communication skills with the ability to effectively present ideas and influence others that achieve desired results.
  • Flexibility to work across different time zones occasionally including early mornings or late nights depending on region in providing legal support and coordinating workload and priorities with ANZ Director, Legal Counsel. Specifically, may be required to be available more on Australian time zone (second half of Australian business day) in supporting the ANZ Director, Legal Counsel.
  • Has a good commercial understanding of various services and licensing agreements. Ability to work with the ANZ Director, Legal Counsel to identify, highlight and provide practical and business friendly alternatives to key risk items in business strategy implementation.
  • Strong commercial drafting skills, strong experience in reviewing, documents such as TLA, ULA, consulting agreements, etc.
  • Ability to understand the commercial business strategy and implementation issues and work with ANZ Director, Legal Counsel ensuring appropriate risk mitigation strategies are clearly addressed in documents and proposed business structures.
  • 12-15 years PQE.
