AHMEDABAD: Global AI-native cybersecurity company Cyble and Ahmedabad-based DRONA Cyber Solutions formally launched an AI-powered cyber defence initiative at DRONA's Command and Control Centre in Ahmedabad, bringing together Beenu Arora, Co-founder and CEO of Cyble, and Dhruv Pandit, Founder and CEO of DRONA Cyber Solutions, in one of India's most significant managed cybersecurity partnerships of the year.
The initiative, titled "AI-Powered Intelligence for Cyber Defense," was formally launched at DRONA Cyber Solutions' Command and Control Centre in Ahmedabad, where the two companies presented a live technical demonstration showing how an intrusion attempt is detected, investigated, and contained within a single integrated operational framework. The joint managed security model combines Cyble's global cyber threat intelligence with DRONA's 24x7 on-ground operational capabilities, targeting a segment that the Indian security industry has largely underserved, high net worth individuals, celebrities, senior executives, political figures, sports personalities, and public-facing creators whose digital identities are now as valuable a target as any corporate network.
The launch comes as India faces a documented and growing cybercrime burden. India recorded 28.15 lakh cybercrime cases in 2025, a 24 per cent increase over the previous year, with reported losses reaching Rs 22,495 crore. The government's 1930 cybercrime helpline received 32.4 million calls during the year.
The Men Behind the Partnership
Beenu Arora established Cyble in 2019 to address the growing need for AI-driven threat monitoring. Holding an MBA from Columbia Business School and London Business School, Arora is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), a Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), an Offensive Security Certified Professional (OSCP), and a member of the Forbes Technology Council. Under his leadership, Cyble raised $24 million in Series B funding, was backed by Y Combinator, and was recognised as a Challenger in the 2026 Gartner Magic Quadrant for Cyberthreat Intelligence Technologies, placing the company among the most credible AI-powered threat intelligence platforms globally.
Arora's vision, as articulated through Cyble's published mission, is to democratise threat intelligence, to give organisations real-time visibility into their digital risk regardless of their size or the geography of the threat they face. The India partnership with DRONA is an expression of that mission applied to one of the world's fastest-growing digital economies at a moment when its cybercrime numbers are growing to match.
Dhruv Pandit is Founder and CEO of DRONA Cyber Solutions, and one of India's most recognised young cybersecurity entrepreneurs. Described as Gujarat's youngest cybersecurity entrepreneur, Pandit represented India at the World Economic Forum Annual Meeting 2026 in Davos, Switzerland, participating in high-level discussions on cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, and digital governance alongside global leaders from government, industry, and academia.
Pandit's approach to cybersecurity is practical and outcome-focused. Explaining the operational philosophy behind the joint initiative, he said: "A factory owner calling us at two in the morning does not want to be shown a dashboard. Why Public Figures Are the New High-Value Target
The partnership's primary rationale addresses a documented and accelerating threat reality. India's most visible personalities face a generation of digital threats that conventional enterprise security frameworks were not built to handle.
The threat categories the Cyble-DRONA partnership specifically targets include deepfake creation and distribution, AI-generated video and audio fabricated to damage reputation, commit fraud, or be used for political manipulation; fake social media profile creation and impersonation; credential leaks and dark-web exposure of personal data including home addresses, phone numbers, travel schedules, and financial information; and digital identity theft used to commit financial fraud or cause reputational harm.
India has seen documented cases of deepfake videos of prominent film personalities being circulated across messaging platforms, fake Instagram profiles of celebrities used to defraud fans, and dark-web listings containing personal data of executives sourced from corporate data breaches. The individuals at the centre of those incidents typically had no early detection mechanism, no coordinated response capability, and no forensic capacity to trace the origin of the attack.
The joint Cyble-DRONA initiative is specifically designed to fill that gap through a 24x7 monitoring, detection, investigation, and takedown framework.
What the Partnership Delivers
Cyble, under Beenu Arora, brings its AI-powered Cyble Vision platform to the partnership, a threat intelligence and dark-web monitoring SaaS that scans thousands of information channels simultaneously for credential leaks, dark-web listings, and threat actor activity linked to specific individuals, organisations, or brand identities.
DRONA, under Dhruv Pandit, brings Gujarat's first integrated Cyber Security Command and Control Centre, a 24x7 physical operational hub in Ahmedabad with detection, investigation, response, and digital forensics capability. The centre, whose name is an acronym for Detection, Response, Organisation, Network, and Analysis, serves as the operational layer through which Cyble's global intelligence signals are translated into immediate, accountable, on-ground action.
Together, the service stack covers deepfake detection and response, fake profile identification and takedown, brand intelligence monitoring, social media intelligence, dark-web monitoring, credential leak detection, cyber threat intelligence, and digital forensics and incident response for individuals and advanced cyber threat intelligence delivery for law enforcement agencies, banks, government institutions, and large enterprises.
The initiative is delivered through DRONA's Ahmedabad command centre and both companies have indicated an intent to extend the model to clients across India over time.
The Cyber Yodha Campaign, Building 100,000 Defenders
The Cyble-DRONA partnership also folds into DRONA's broader national programme, the Cyber Yodha Campaign, whose mission extends well beyond individual client protection. The campaign aims to establish 50 integrated cybersecurity command centre labs across India and train more than one lakh cyber defenders, creating a nationally distributed cyber defence infrastructure that combines trained human expertise with AI-powered technology.
Dhruv Pandit has positioned DRONA not merely as a commercial security firm but as an institution building India's sovereign cyber defence capacity, a vision that found international recognition when he was invited to represent India at the World Economic Forum in Davos earlier this year.
The addition of Cyble's global threat intelligence capability to that national programme gives the Cyber Yodha initiative access to one of the most advanced commercial threat monitoring platforms in the world and brings Ahmedabad's emerging cybersecurity ecosystem directly into the global intelligence network that Beenu Arora has spent seven years building.
